SAYS SIR MARTIN WOULD HAVE DONE. New York. June 15.— XI. L. Schwartz, who f irmerlv raced a stable of horses in this country, including Far West and Bat Masterson. has just re turned from England. Mr. Schwartz witnessed the l mining of the English Derby. He says Sir Martin wal under all kinds of wraps when he fell at Tatten-haiii Comer and that in his opinion the issue would have been confined to Sir Martin and William the Fourth had not the accident occurred. Mr. Schwartz declares that the latter was seriously impeded when the American colt came to grief and that he did wonderfully well to finish a close up third.
