King Cobalt followed the pacemaker closely to the stretch, then drew out under a pull: Kialto ran In forward and persistent pursuit and was a fast going second in a cracking effort. McCarter. from a flying start, set the pace to the stretch and tired, but was a game and close up third. Pantoufie ran prominently and persistently throughout. De Mund. nearly left, made up ground gradually, but was never dangerous. Etherial. away poorly, steadiiy improved his position and finished close up. Takahira. badly outpaced, was gaining at the end. King fastle made the running for the first mile, then dropped back after fencing clumsily at the Liverpool and finished beaten off finally, being lame and unfit. Impertinence, a keen contender to the last jump, fell when an easy second, was then remounted and finished. Grace Cameron was beaten off. all the way. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Sandrian ran prominently and gamely throughout and is improving fast. Bedminster. from an inside slow start in close quarters, steadily unproved his poatttaa. Crossover had a. bad start and was outpaced from the start, but finished well. Our Hannah, after brief prominence to the stretch, quit bad.y. The winner was entered for ,300; no bid. Shapdale. after prominent attendance on the pacemaker, tired in the closing drive. Rose Beaumont ran forwardly for seven furlongs and finished gaining for third place. Grania closed a big gap in the last half. Ruxton. nearly left, made up much ground. Hammerless ran leisurely throughout. Moorish King went well. The winner was entered for Sl.OOO: no bid. Dixie Dixon ran into a forward position from the start and held on g-iiiely in the closing drive. Keputy outbroke and outpaced the others to mldwav of the stretch before tiring and is proiiii-ing. Uneas Chief, prominent to the stretch, is a good looker. Radium Star, from a slow start, closed an early gap quickly and tired in the stretch. Coliuet finished well up, although never dangerous.
