FALL DATES DECIDEDLY IN DEMAND. Even the Brighton Beach Association Asks for an Allotment at New York Conference. New York. June 29. — The stewards of the Jockey Club held a conference on Monday regarding the allotment of fall racing dates. Every metropolitan lacing association was represented and applied fo» date-, including William Kngemaii of the Brighton Beach Association. It is s.iid that Mr. Engeinans application is regarded with disfavor and will be turned down. From an authoritative source it is learned that the Brighton Beach Association is still indebted to horsemen and others to the extent of . M . The Brighton track is partially dismantled. Peaces, stables anil field stand have been removed, while the track is considerably cut up and dug up and the steeplechase course wholly obliterated. The grandstand and clubhouse remain intact and the course could probably 1« made r.adv to race over by the first of September. William II. Reynolds of the Jamaica track was also on hand with a request for dates for a fall meeting, which will be granted as a matter of course. If any action was takes the fact was not divulged. It is believed that discussion was postiioned until the next meeting. It is know n that another conference will be held in the Immediate future.
