UNCLE AGAIN IN TRAINING. New York. July 2. Uncle, the four-year-old chestnut colt by Star Shoot The Niece, for which S. C. Hildreth paid John E. Madden $.,I0 as a two-year-old. is once more in training at Sheepshead Bay after having been on the shelf almost continuously since his transfer to Hildreth. Uncle won several races for Hildreth during the fall following ills purchase, then fell a victim to foot trouble on being taken to California for a winter campaign. Several times in the interim Hildreth has almost got Uncle up to a race, only to have him fall lame at the last moment.
