WEDDING BELLS WINS RACE. London, Eng., July 2. At Newmarket today the Waterbeach Handicap of 300 sovereigns, for three-year-olds and upward, distance six furlongs, was won by J. R. Keenes Wedding Bells ,11. Albert Hall was second and Paddlngton third Among the ten starters was II. P. Whitneys Hillside. The Friday All-Aged Selling Plate of 103 sovereigns, distance five furlongs, was won by Base Metal. Rosemeath was second and Surf third. Among the fifteen starters was II. P. Whitneys Ballyhoo filly. The Princess Plate of 300 sovereigns, for two-year-olds, distance five "furlongs, was won by Duchess Christine. Zoetrope was second and the Tath-well Lassie colt third. Among the nineteen starters were II. P. Whitneys Oversight and August Belmonts Fond Memories. At Worcester the llindlip Maiden Two-Year-Old Plate of 103 sovereigns, distance five furlongs, was won by Haurdina. Highland Fling was second and Fllpperty third. Among the twelve starters was C. Carrolls Truekee. The Stanton Plate of 103 sovereigns, for three-year-olds and upward, distance six furlongs, was won by Dodger. Rouelle was second and Mashwela third. The eight starters included J. R. Keenes Waniba II.
