The latter dropped back in the lirst quarter and was taken wide, but closed a big gap and linished resolutely. May Lutz linlslied with a rush and is a better lilly than she has been rated. The latter, away in a tangle, gradually improved his jiosition and slipped through on the inside after entering the homestretch and finished resolutely. De Burgo ran well and outgamed Security at the end. The latter, as gool as left, closed a big gap and ran the best race. Loyal Maid set a fast pace, but failed to stay. Stromeland outbroke the others and set a fast pace, but was driving hard at the end to stall off Desperado. The latter was carried wide on the turn for home and linished fast.
