BRIGHTON BEACH FOR MOTOR COURSE. -j ; New York. July 9. Negotiations have been concluded whereby the old Brighton Beach race track is to be converted into a motor course. The property was saved from being cut up into building lots by the Motor Racing Association. This association has leased the enclosure, and will provide a series of tournaments. The initial meet will take place July 30 and 31. The feature event will be a twenty-four-hour race, limited to the sixteen best stock cars of Europe and America. This race will be started Frlduv night, preceded by a program of shorter events, beginning Friday afternoon.
