The latter, hard ridden throughout and saving much ground, stayed well In the final drive. Pulka. went wide on the first two turns and was gaining at the end. Good Intent, away fast, was prominent for the first three furlongs. Lotta Creed had a rough trip. Banives was knocked out of any chance soon after the start. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. Dr. Keltli fenced well and his rider took advantage of the others mistakes, followed the unruly Harrington closely and. when the latter blundered, took a long lead and won cantering. Bergoo trailed far back in the early ftages, but went well for the last round of the course. Awawegang tired badly after going over ten of the fences and fell exhausted at the thirteenth jump, but was remounted. Harrington led by a good margin for the first seven jumps, but blundered under poor riding and unseated his rider at the ninth jump. Gait bolljed at the first jump. King of Mist, carried wide ou the first turn, steadily improved his position and, finishing gamely under punishment, outstayed Adoration. The latter, on the outside to the stretch turn, closed up after entering the homestretch, but faltered in the final drive. Carthage showed speed, but quit in the last sixteenth. Ceremonius tired from racing Doubt into defeat, but hung on longer than usual and finished gamely. Doubt showed the most early speed and ran the best race he has shown in some time. Arrow Swift quit in the last sixteenth. Holscher fell lame before they had gone a furlong. Point Lace ran poorly. The winner was entered for 00: no bid.
