REVIEW OF OKLAHOMA CITY MEETING. Oklahoma City. Okla.. July 9. "The midsummer race meeting which has just closed here, was universally pronounced a complete success," says the Daily Oklahoma!!. "It was a success from a financial standpoint. It was successful, too. from the standpoint of clean and interesting racing. "All of the officials expressed their pleasure with the results. Judge Brady, a veteran racing olficial. biiid that it was one of the most successful and most pleasant in Ills career. Dr. A; E. Flowers, secretary of the Texas Thoroughbred Association, stated that he was agreeably surprised with the conduct of the races, which Were superior in almost every respect to those held In Texas earlier in t,he season. "In conferring the praise of the meritorious conduct of the races it would lie well to give much deserved praise to Judge Brady and starter Mc-Knight. . Both these ollicials did much to keep the meeting on a high plane and to remove from it any disagreeable or distasteful features. They did everything in their power to protect the public through the insurance of clean and fair sport. "To th" Oklahoma City Jockey Club and the State Fair ollicials belongs the credit for "excellent discipline maintained throughout the meeting. The attendance at tho meeting was good. The public showed its appreciation of the races and was repaid bv racing much lietter than the ordinary. It is predicted that the races during the State Fair next fall will be conducted in an equally commendable manner."
