Of the get of other sires in Mr. Lynes collection Mr. Piatt says lie likes best the sister to Cohort, by Cesarion, out of Ondalan. "She is trim and neatly made and will nice well," said he. They were liought by Charles It. Thompson at the McGrathianu dispersal and about a month ago Colonel Young bought them back from him. It is Intended that the yearlings owned by Mr. Lyne are to be sold at Sheepshead Bay in Septeni-lier. but Mr. Olarksons live are to be sent to the local track August 1 to lie broken. It lias not been decided. It is said, just who will handle them. Thcy are: Black colt, by Cesarion Gold AVing. Chestnut colt, by lamplighter Ulidaga. Chestnut colt, by Inspector B. Princess Bowling. Bay colt, by Monsieur de LOrme Song. Bay colt, by Yorkshire Lad-Stars. Superintendent Ross says about 150 yearlings will come to the local track by August 1 to be broken. "Will Overton will be In charge of twenty head from Johnson N. Camdens Hartland Stud. Frank Grosdie will break twenty-five head belonging to J. II. "Woodford. W. II. Fixer, P. J. Millett. George Wild.-r and others. Howard Oots lias asked for one of th? largest barns on the grounds and will put one of Ills men iu charge of aliout a dozen. J. II. It is expected that a number of the yearlings that were sold at Slieepsliead Bay the past ten days will be sent back here to be broken. H. K. Bradleys yearlings will be broken at Idle Hour Farm by Clifford Hammond. It is likely that those belonging to Henry M. Ziogler will be broken at the same place. The yearlings belonging to Thomas II. Slovens are being broken at Walnut Hill Farm liv Fletcher Driver. Overton H. Chenault is getting ready at his Spendthrift Farm twenty yearlings fifteen colts and Ave llllies for the September sales. Among thehi Is a handsome sister to Unsightly, the dam of King James. The finest of the colts is the chestnut son of Woolsthorpe and Ada 11. dam of Van Ness ami Leila Barr. by illimyar. which came out of the MeCrathiana dispersal last fall. Walter Grater came over from Latonia Wednesday morning and departed Wednesday night for New York, whither lie shipped Louise S. and Dr. Barklev to race at the Empire City meeting. All of the others iu his string he brought back here and turned out.
