DOINGS OF THE JOCKEY CLUB STEWARDS. New York. July 10. At the recent meeting of the stewards of the Jockey Club, Henry J. Morris was appointed steward to represent the Jockey Club at the Empire City Racing Associations summer meeting. August Belmonts selection of R. T. Wilson. Jr.. as his deputy steward during his absence abroad was confirmed. The dates for fall racing on Jockey Club tracks were approved as arranged and announced. Application of Charles Bell for a jockeys license was denied as recommended by the license committee. Applications for training licenses from Tatrick M. Kelly and George Wilkerson were tabled and the same disnosition was made of applications for jockey licenses from M. Treston and F. Tohanka. Licenses wore granted to the following: Trainers E. J. Albright. II. G. Bedwell. James Blute, Iliil T. Chinn. James Gass, George Jacobs, Charles. .Mack. J. R. Taylor. Jockeys Joseph Hyland. James Moore. 1. Murphy, E. Martin. Sam Nullet. Frank Swain. Eddie Taplin, John K. Treubel. Frank Wrispen. Appointment of the following otliclals for the Empire City ami Saratoga meetings were confirmed: Judges. C. McDowell and C. II. Tettingill: starter. .Mars Cassidy; clerk of the scales. C. II. Tettingill; patrol judge, J. L. Hall; hanilicapper. W. S. Vos-burgli: timer. W. II. Barretto; starting judge. II. U. Iloman.
