IMPORTANT ENGLISH RACING AT HAND. Beginning next Tuesday a week of important racing will be passed into history in England through the medium of the Newmarket Second July meeting and the Sandown Park Eclipse meeting. The Newmarket Second July covers Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday, and the Sandown Park meeting .takes up Friday and Saturday. Many of the features of the Newmarket meeting closed on dates ranging from June T2 to July 0, and. no doubt, have their share of nominations by American owners. The chief stakes for the first day are the Dullingham Plate of ,000, at a mile and a half, for which Sir .Martin was nominated by John E. Madden and to which he Is still an eligilde. as are also Mr. Belmonts Bay Tree and Norman III. Mr. Keenes Wedding Bells, Esperanto and Selectman and Mr. Whitneys Field Daisy, Bobbin and Perseus; and the Sbltykoff Stakes, at five furlongs and 140 yards, for two-year-olds. Mr. Carrolls Troubled Waters. Mr. Keenesi Mcta- ijhor. i...mlin and Seneca and "Mr. Whitneys Hamburg Yorkville Belle colt and Broomstick Audieuc? colt are in this event. The First Foal Stakes, Zetland Plate and Thirty-Fourth Two-Year-Old Sale Stakes are the chief races of Wednesday, no Americans being engaged. The big events of Thursday, are the Midsummer Stakes for three-year-olds and over and the Chesterfield Stakes for two-year-olds. Mr. Keene has Seneca in the latter. The Sandown Park meeting is of the highest importance, because its course is marked by the running of the .000 Eclipse Stakes and the S2.".,000 National Breeders Produce Stakes, for two-year-olds. Bayardo. Your Majesty. Siberia. Santo Strato, FIIs du Vent, Porrier. Araminta. Poor Boy. Blank-ney II.. Boyal Uealm and Sir Bold are among the good horses still left in the Eclipse. Mr. Whitney having two eliglbles of no consequence in Field Daisy and Bobbin. The Eclipse Is a dash of a mile and a nuartcr. and is the first of the three "ten thousand pounders" that are the most valuable races of the English turf. It will lie run next Friday. The National Breeders Produce Stakes is a dasli of five furlongs and will be run next Saturday. It has a great entry list, including some supposed cracks reserved expressly for this race. The Galli nule Admiration colt, Sunshine. Rochester. Sun Angel. Scotch Gift and Neil Gow constitute a group expected to furnish the winner.
