GLIMMER OF HOPE IN TENNESSEE. Memphis. Tenn., July 24. Following a conference held here between prominent politicians and members of the legislature that suppressed horse racing and the sale of Intoxicants, it is said that steps are to be taken to ask Governor Patterson to call an extra session of the legislature. It is believed that racing lias a chance to be revived in Tennessee in the event that the extra session materializes.
