LOOKING OVER FUTURE STARS. Saratoga, N. Y.. August 10. James Rowe and Thomas Welsh have returned from a tlying trip to New York for the purpose of looking over the yearlings they have in their care and to make selections for stakes that will close shortly. Rowe has a good-looking lot of about twenty-five from which the James R. Keene nominees will be selected, and Welsh has no fewer than thirty-two young horses in his care. Nineteen of the lot Welsh has are from August Belmonts Nursery Stud and will carry the colors of the chairman of the Jockey Club next season.
