WHITNEY HORSES PLACED AT NOTTINGHAM. London, Eng.. August 10. The Oxten Selling Plate of 100 sovereigns, for all ages, distance five furlongs, was Tim at Nottingham today and was won by Poklcwski. Donita was second and II. 1. Whitneys Tvrcounel third. Thirteen ran. The Friar Tuck Selling Plate of 105 sovereigns, for three-year-olds and upward, distance one mile, was won by Palette. H. P. Whitneys Field Daisy was second and Kiiroy third. Eight ran.
