BEVERWYCK STEEPLECHASE HISTORY This afternoon will bring aliout the eleventh running of the Bevcrwyck Steeplechase, an event of honorable history and much popularity with owners of jumping horses. It is patent that the Jumpers of the 1 resent year do not compare favorably with such Beverwyck winners as The Bachelor, Lavator and Her-culoid, but they are good enough to provide excellent diversion for admirers of steeplechasing, and better ones are sure to come along as the years pass.
