TYRCONNEL WINS IN ENGLAND. Loudon. Eng.. August 27. The. Addiscombc Selling Plate of 100 sovereigns, for two-year-olds, distance five furlongs, was won at Gatwick today by Tyrconnel. Velesia was second and Little Hora third. Fourteen horses ran. Tyrconnel earlier in the season was one of II. Pi Whitneys string, but is now the property of an Englishman.
