Kyle went around on the outside when turning out of the backstretcb and drew away in the stietph. La Toupee began sloivly, but steadily improved her position and closed a big gap. in. the stretch. Miss Mapieton ran green early, but came 011 gamely when she got settled in her stride, Eleanor Robson, evidently , a false alarm, was off forwardly and met with no mishaps, set the early pace and quit badly. Keep Moving set a fast pace to the stretch and raced AAoolstone into defeat, but tired in the last quarter and. having cut across to the inside soon after the start, caused a jam and was disqualified. Golconda ran well, but tired in the stretch drive. Elder was caught iu a jam. soon after the start, stumbled and was knocked sideways by Golconda and fell. Toddy Hodge stumbled over him and unseated his rider. Woolstone was speedy, but failed to stay. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 84350 Carew. 100.
