WORK-OUTS OF EASTERN HORSES. Saratoga. X. Y., August 28. Recent work-outs of horses in training over the Saratoga Associations main course were as follows: Weather clear; track fast Andrew Summers Mile and a quarter in 2:14. Nice work for this juniper. Aunt Jule Mile in 1:43. At her best. Braggadocio Mile and a quarter in 2:14. At his best. Beaucoup Mile aud fl quarter in 2:24. Looks good and works well at all times. JJrushbroom Half mile In 52. Shows much speed in his work. , Belleview Three-eighths in 37. Has ,been going slowly for some time: now doing good work. Cowen Three-eighths In 30. Has not been pushed for fast work. Campaigner Mile in 1:48. Has all his speed and never looked better. Descomnets Half mile In 50. Shows a fair turn of speed and looks as if he would go on. Effendl -Mile and an eighth in 1:591. Works well when wanted; had worked a mile in two minutes ten minutes before this. Edwin L. Three-quarters in 1:18. Shows speed and works well at all times. Fauntleroy Three-quarters in l:20i At his best. Fountain Squirrel Three-quarters in 1:10. Works well at all times and Is a good looker. General MacGregor Three-eighths in 40, pulling up. Herkimer Half mile in 49. Has all bis speed and should be able to race well. Harvey F. Half mile in -19. Has a nice turn of earlv speed and looks good. Half Sovereign Mile and a quarter in 2:10. Looks good and carries all her good turn of speed. Hanimon Pass Three-quarters in 1:24. Joe Morris Three-quarters in 1 :15. Jack Baker Three-eighths in .".0. Has Tjood turn of speed and is ready to race. Layminster Half mile In 53J. Has been resting up for some time; now doing nicely. Mellowmint Three-quarters in 1:19. Was full of running and never looked better. Michael Beck Three-quarters in 1:23. Works well at all times and shows a line turn of speed. Nestor Three-quarters In 1:24. Good looker and moves with a nice turn of speed. Olevia Three-eighths in 37. Speedy and should race well. Ontario Seven-eighths In 1:31. Worked along In a nice way witli plenty of speed in reserve. Pete Three-quarters. In 1:19. Good-going colt and one that should race well. Perry Johnson Three-quarters in 1:22. At his best and will probably run In the Futurity. Profile Three-quarters in 1:19. Has been laid up for some time. Pimlico Three-quarters in 1:17. Has plenty of speed. Qneenliko Three-quarters in 1:1S. Has been doing slow work but is now sharpening up. Quantico Five-eighths in 1:12. Just allowed to breeze along. Rowland Otis Half mile In 50. Has plenty of speed. Rokeby Half mile in 49. Speedy and a good looker. Saul Three-quarters in 1:101,. Looks good and works well at all times. The Peer Three-eighths in 30. At bis best. Tasley Three-quarters in 1 :li.. Shows all her earlv speed and is at her best. The Prophet Half mile in 50. Has speed and worked well before. Uncle Jim Half mile in 51. Fair work for this one: has not been asked for much. Van Den Half mile in 49. Speedy and never looked better. Vesar Five-eighths In 1:05. A speedy miss when ready.
