BENNING TRACK TO BE ABANDONED. Baltimore. Mrt.. August 30. President Samiiel Boss of the Washington Jockey Club says that the Idea of holding any fall meeting at Denning has been abandoned, and that as far as lie knows neither the Washington Hunt Club nor any other racing association in the District will conduct a meeting. President Ross statement has revived the rumor that the large tract of land now under lease to the Washington Jockev flub will be disiiosed of and within a year will Ikj cut up Into building lots.
