Killiecrankie, seemingly outpaced, although within hailing distance, made a belated fast stretch move and was second best. Bird of Flight II. ran in forward pursuit for the iirst mile and tired in the closing drive, lama held forth hopelessly in a rear position and finished fast, but trying to bore out. Do Mund, also reserved in forward pursuit, loomed up menacingly in the linal drive and is extra good. Jack Atkin, from an inside slow start and pulling up frequently, finished with a belated challenge in a grand effort. Arondack, trailing easily, was outpaced for half of the journev niid closed an immense gap at the end. Rose Queen outbroke and outpaced the others for live furlongs and quit badly in the closing drive. King Cobalt, well up for live furlongs, tired badly. Candleberrj; began slowly and was crowded and forced to the rear on the Inside and pocketed to the st letch but, closing up steadily, finished like a shot through the last furlong into a fast going second. Giasmere lapped the pacemaker on the inside, but swerved to the outside against Barleythorpe, swerved back again in front of Sweep and quit linally. Angerona steadily improved her position on the outside into a close and fast going fourth. Sticker also came fast from behind and was running like a shot at the end. The ieneral Armstrong, away badly, closed an immense gap to the stretch and linished fastest of all except the winner. Barleythorpe outbroke and outpaced the others for live furlongs and was bumped badly at:; tired. Sandrlan finished unexpectedly well up. Nimbus, from a slow start, drew out on the back-stretch and led by a wide gap, seemingly a sure winner, but tired suddenly.. Question Mark took a quick lead and held sway for half of the journey, then tired and dropped back and bothered Etherial, but linished 11 fast going third and probably was short. Juggler was hopelessly outpaced by the three leaders. Albert Star was far outclassed.
