Respess and other local stockholders, who have been lehlnd a movement to install Joseph Murphy of St. Louis as presiding judge. It is intimated that Rhinock and. Respess are still disposed to try to upset the program of the Celia faction concerning the officials. It is said that Rhinock and Respess, in order to be sure that Murphy would not refuse the proposed appointment, offered him a salary larger than any ever before paid to a racing official in Kentucky.
