"Whitey" Thomas, the "night riders" under arrest for working: the two-year-old,- Ostend. are ready to confess. Negotiations with that end in view have been going on. and the prisoners have been weakening slowly but surely. When the case came before Magistrate Voorheos on Friday. Strobel was. also charged with petty larceny for taking jockey Butwells saddle.. The "night riders" secured a postponement after askiiur in vaiii lor a lawyer whose name they said was Tobiu. At the jail afterward, it is said, several detectives-interviewed Strobel and one of them said to him: "Why dont you tell all you know about this business Instead of goini up for the rest of your life 5" "Jf I could.
