SCHOOLMARM OUT OF TRAINING. New York, September 10. Jack Goldsliorough has thrown Schoolniarm, the daughter of Islingtou and Mary Stuart, with which he won the Great Filly Stakes for Jack Rennet, out of training for the year. Schoolmann was so lame the day before the Great Filly was run that Goldsborough hail to work hard to get her in condition to start. She has not done badly since her victors over Sticker in the richest filly race of the Sheepshead Ray session, but she has no more valuable dates ahead and taking chances for small purses with a filly of lier promise, is hardly worth while. "There is nothing wrong with Schoolmann that will not yield to careful treatment," Goldsborough said yesterday, "and I believe that she will make a Urst-class three-year-old. I will not say that she is as good as Flip Flap wasu few years back. Flip Flap was a great mare. But Schoolmann is one of the steadiest horses I ever had the good fortune to get hold of, and I believe she will make a great three-year-old if she winters satisfactorily."
