NOT ENAMOURED OF STEEPLECHASING. New York. September 1C. The defeat of Bobbin Around by Andrew Summers in the steeplechase at Gravesend Tuesday cost George Odom 00 and soured him on steeplechasing. Bobbin Around has improved wonderfully since his first attempt over the tappers course and has become one of the smartest young fencers in the country. But he docs not like to jump unless lie follows a horse, and he -has so much speed he has to be hauled about a lot to keep behind a leader. That sort of thing takes the run out of him and Odom says he is willing to sell the son of Sorcerer to someone who will undertake the task of teaching him to run in front.
