! EIGHTH RUNNING OF THE TORONTO AUTUMN CUP . The Toronto Autumn -Cup is an event of recent establishment, as indeed are all of the stake races run at thy autumn meeting of the Ontario Jockey Club. The veteran. Green R. Morris, won it in its first year with his .speedy lilly, Janice. It was run at a mile and an eighth that year; but was made a dash of a mile and a quarter the following year and has been run at that distance ever since. The best race horse that ever won it was the several times Derby winner, Claude, which was first in 1904, with 124 pounds up, the greatest weight ever carried successfully in the race. The record of the event to date is: Year. First. Age. Jockeys. AAt. Second! Age. AAt. Third. Age. Wt. Val. Time. 1902 Janice 4 J. Daly. .IOC.
