BELMONT RACERS RETURN FROM ENGLAND. New York. September 17. John AAhalen has got back from England two two-year-olds by Hastings that were sent over to trainer AAatson as yearlings last season. They are from Astoria, the dam of Zoroaster, Arondack, and Aster dOr and Tarpeia. the dam of Tiptoe and Trapper. These were highly tried yearlings or they would not have been shipped across the Atlantic, but they do not look like much now. being light in flesh and fidgety. American horses that come back from England do not. as a general thing, look their best. English trainers are pretty rough on them. AAhalen will geld the colt and turn him out. and it is improbable that either of them will race this season under the Relmout silks.
