Loco, away badly and shut off on tlie turn, closed a big gap. Hallack, from a bad start, made up much ground. Ten Paces, nearly left, closed a big gap and is a stayer. Calash bad an inside slow start in close quarters and never had clear sailing. Intrinsic ran close up for five furlongs and quit abruptly. Little King; away llatfooted and crowded out repeatedly, improved his position rapidly in tin; middle running, but quit at the end and was pulled up, having no chance. Miss Kearney made the running undisturbed for a mile and a furlong and was outsprinted bv tlie other two in the last furlong, but held on persistently and is improving. Grecian Bend, away imoriy, steadily improved her position into a lucky third. Glen Helen, from a slow start on the extreme outside, closed a big gap in the last half. Bright Start ran well up all the way. Inspired outbroke the others and set the pace for half of the Journey, but tired badly in the closing drive. Majestic, away slowly, was lost in the big llcld, but gained rapidly near the end and lias done fast work. Bang, llatfootcd at the start, was hopelessly pocketed and surrounded in the early running. Marlgot had no chance at the start.
