TO RACE AT CLARKSVILLE, TENN. Clarksville. Tenn., September 17. A number of prominent men have organized the Clarksville Racing Association. The purpose of the association is to promote racing In this county, and the first meeting will be held October 13-10 at High Point Farm, where a half-mile track has already been built. The following ollicers have been elected: M. M. Hussey. president: J. 1. Coleman, vice president: A. .AL Leach, treasurer, and J. P. Cosgrove. secretary. Cash purses aggregating ,500 will be offered for running, trotting and pacing races.
