The latter., away slowly and outpaced early, closed an immense gap in the last quarter and but for The Turk swerving before him would have headed Ren Loyal and was best. Billiard Ball outbroke and outpaced the others for five furlongs, then tired badly. Tlie Turk ran forwardly. but is green and was swerving throughout and just failed to get up for third i?aec. Acumen was gaining rapidly at the end.. Fulllll was outpaced from the start. Niagara, shuffled rearward at the start, closed up well and is not ready. El Oro. a good looker, drew out early and made the pace to the stretch, but went wide ami finished on tlie extreme outside and going well. Biishey Top showed earlv speed and was prominent to tlie stretch, then tired and is improving steadily.
