JAMESTOWN CASES TO BE TRIED THURSDAY. Kiohmond. Va.. January 29.— The cases of Al Valentine. W. Morgan. W. Kerryhart and Joe ■unrHeh. charged with the violation of the state autijmmbllng laws at the Jamestown race irack last fall? will ho tried before Judge Jesse F. West, of the Third Judicial Court in the Circuit Court at Norfolk next Tliursdav. The local prosecutor will be assisted bv Attorney-General Samuel W. Williams ami his assistant. R. R. Davtu The tit -t |K.inr raised by the defense will lie the question of jurisdiction. Us contention being that the magistrates court is the props* tribunal in which the cases should b - heard.
