Clifford, Yo Tambien and Lamplighter all raced at Washington Park in 1893. Clifford ran third in the American Derby and third in the Sheridan Stakes. Yo Tambien and Lamplighter met in the 0,000 Columbus Handicap, which was won by Rudolph with Yo Tambien second and Lamplighter unplaced. All of these horses ran in other races on Chicago tracks.
