Mcdowell yearlings in fast trials. Lexington. Ky., October 31. Charles II. Hughes : today left Cincinnati for Louisville to assume the management of the Beverwyck Stable string of , racer:!, numbering twenty-two horses, which are to winter at Churchill Downs. George Ziegler will continue to train the horses, but Mr. Hughes is to have full control and management. T. C. McDowell had two yearlings work fast at the Kentucky Association track today. The Trap Rock Ecstaey colt worked a uarter in 22 and the Star Shoot Kings Daughter in 23. Since Sunday practically all of the local horses participating in the racing at Latonia have Ijhpii shipped here. It. L. Baker will ship his string to New Orleans after a months rest. Jockey W. Morrissey, under contract to George W. .7. Bissell, is out after an operation for appendicitis.
