SYBIL, after running in close pursuit for the first half, caught KAGURA tiring in the stretch and won going away. KAGURA was much used in racing CONOWINGO into defeat and was tiring at the end. MEELOGKXE closed a gap with a good burst of speed. CONOWIXGO ran a fast half mile in the lead and quit. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. BELLE TERRE was shuffled back at the start, but worked her way up on the inside and outgamed RATINA in the final strides. RATINA rushed to the front shortly after the start and set a fast pace, but was tiring at the end. MAZURKA was always prominent. ZIN DEL quit at the end of five-eighths. TOM CARO had no mishaps.
