MOSS FOX followed the leaders until rounding the far turn, from where he moved up fast and : won going away. DOROTHY CARLIN ran a game race and was easily best of the others. CREPUSCULE was in close quarters, but moved up on the outside when entering the homestretch and, finishing fast, outgamed SYBIL through the final sixteenth. SYBIL closed a gap and came fast in the final eighth, but could not get up. KAGURA set a fast pace to the last eighth and tired. AVAT ran a good half mile and quit. QAO1 O THIRD RACE 5 1-2 Furlongs. COUNTERPART was always the closest contender, but could never get to the leader. EDMOND ADAMS finished, with a rush, but just managed to get up in time to beat ZIN DEL. The latter ran well. JIM WAKELY ran well, but could not withstand the challenge of the winner after getting to the front. FAIRY LEGEND raced well up for the entire way. STIR UP ran away a mile previous to the race.
