ENGLISH NATIONAL STUDS FIRST WINNER. Off the White, a colt by White Eagle — Miss Cue, which won the First-Class Two-Ycar-Old Plate at Phoenix Park, Ireland, on Saturday, March 31. was bred at the National Stud. He was purchased by his trainer J. Burns for forty-five guineas at the yearling sales at Newmarket last September. This is the first winner from the National Stud, which was presented to the government by Col. Hull Walker in December, 1015.
