MANY ENTRIES FOR MARYLAND HUNT CUP. Baltimore Md.. April 23. — From the entries received it looks as if the field that will go to the post in the Maryland Hunt Cup. the Point-to-Point Steeplechase, which will be run on the estate of C Bernard Feuwick at Glyndon, Md., noxt Saturday will be larger than in 1910 or 1915, each of those years bringing out a dozen starters. The glory of winning this race is, of course, eagerly sought for, but this year there is an added attraction, as all starters are eligible to compete for a purse of ,000 to be ofTered for a renewal at four miles on the flat, this race to be run at Pinilico on the morning of Saturday, May 5, just a week after the steeplechase. Virginia will be well represented in both races, as will the various bunt clubs in the vicinity of Philadelphia. Long Island, too, will send a quota, with Maryland, of course, furnishing the majority of the starters. Quite a number of the men engaged to ride ate now under colors with some branch of the army or navy, but they expect to be able to get a furlough for the day, unless conditions take a serious turn in the meantime.
