YEARLING "A BORN JUMPER." Down at Red Bank, N. J., where the horses of the Greentree Stable have been since last fall, there is a yearling that is sure to be assigned to the jumping division of the stable. Recently he was turned out in a paddock enclosed with a rail fence close to five feet in height. The colt, after playing about for a while, evidently made up his mind to join some of his mates in a field on the opposite side of the road. He trotted back a short distance, turned and, in but little more than a lope, started for the fence and cleared it with the skill of a veteran. Several saw the jump, among them Jim-mie Bowe, and the general verdict was "a born jumper." Hence the prediction as to his career.
