The first aerial mail routes within the continental limits of the Fnited States will be established between San Diego and San Francisco, and then extended until the system reaches nearly every important city in the country, according to an announcement made in San Diego Friday night by an aviation officer of the United States flying corps. Dr. William Zimmermann, instructor of anatomy at the Colorado College of Dental Surgery and a distant relative of German foreign secretary Zim mermann, is drilling the students. "I am merely trying to do my bit as an American citizen," Dr. Zimmermann said today. Abdul Hak Hussein Bey, charge daffaires of the Turkish embassy, has appealed to the state department to permit him to remain in this country because of the poor health of his wife. The department has ruled that he will not be compelled to depart at this time. Tbe names of seven Americana killed in action on the first day of the battle of Yimy Ridge were contained in tbe Canadian casualty list.
