JOHN MADDEN RETIRES THE FINN New York, September 13. The Finn, rated one of the best horses in the country before an injury t - this year, is on his way to Kentucky today, where he will be retired on John E. Maddens farm, Hamburg Place. Madden re-purcliased The Finn from H. C. Hallenbeck. The Finn injured himself in the Brookdale Handicap at the Aqueduct track, and has not been seen under colors since.
