MONTHLY MEETING , OF JOCKEY CLUB New York, September 13. At the regular monthly meeting of the Jockey Club, held today, the secretary reported two vacancies in the membership of the club. Wm. Woodward was proposed for membership in the Jockey Club by Jos. E. AVide- ner and seconded by Schuyler L. Parsons. Upon a vote Mr. Woodward was elected. The following amendment to the rules of racing i was proposed by II. IC. Knapp. Rule 22, in second, line, insert Just after "" before April first and thereafter, so that rule 222 will read: "Racing colors shall Iks registered either annually on payment of 1 before April first and thereafter, or for life of the person registering on payment of 5." Rule 234, section three, insert after figure "1" before April first and 5 thereafter so that rule 234, section three, shall read: "For every annual registration of colors before April first and thereafter."
