RACING AT VIRGINIA STATE FAIR Horace P. Murphy, racing secretary of the Virginia State Fair Association, has announced the full conditions of the races to be run at Richmond on October 8 to 11. The entries close on October 2. The Virginia State Fair Steeplechase for huntera atrabout two miles and a quarter, will feature the card on October 10. The Commonwealth Club Steeplechase Handicap, for tliret-year-olds and over at about one mile, will be raced on the final day of the fair meeting. The Richmond fair follows Roanoke and Lynchburg and precedes Petersburg. Thirteen races are on the four day card, the purses, totaling ,100.
