CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The Austrian Derby has been won by Confnsion-nrius, a son of Gouvernant. His owner is M. Ni de Szemere, tin; Hungarian sportsman, who raced in England for some years. The best known of his horses in that country was Sobieski, the winner of the Kandown Foal Stakes of 1911. Lord Derbys Kcysoe, the St. Leger winner, will race no more this year. The English critics consider her of Cup quality. She is a big filly. 16.3 hands high, and what is known as a "larrupper," but is hard to train, being slightly thick in the wind and needing the most thorough preparation.
