ENGLISH GROUSE SHOOTING SEASON The best bag of grouse obtained in Scotland was not got in the Highlands, but in Midlothian, within a few miles of Edinburgh. Mr. McDougal of Kae-shaw and five other guns killed 259. brace in three days on Ovcrshiel, Gaitlavi; and Raeshaw Moors, which extend over about 7,000 acres. Before the war the average seasons bag was over 2,000 brace. One day in August several years ago six guns killed 934 grouse in one day.
