MADGE F. set the early pace and held on gamely when headed, but began tiring near the end. PASTOUREAU was outpaced in the early running, but closed a gap anil finished fast. BULLDOZE, well ridden, raced into the lead on the backstretch, but ran out on the stretch turn, then had to be ridden hard right at the end to outstay KINGFISHER. The latter saved muclw ground when coming into the stretch and finished gamely. DANCING SPRAY set the early pace, but tired after going three-quarters. BROAVN1E McDAAVELL quit badly in the stretch. The others were outrun.
