DUNSANDEL raced into a long lead and tired when challenged. MAY ROBERTS, clear of interference, but on the outside all the way, closed a big gap and outstayed COCK O THE ROOST in the final drive. WAR NOTE raced in nearest pursuit all the way and was gaining at the tiiiisli. BASIL-IUS met with much interference, but gradually improved his position and, closing a big gap. probably was best.
