O SHILLING O - BEDWELL CASE L Likely to Be Thrashed Out in Court Racing Commission to Meet Today. . HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., September 27. The l" long expected climax to the jockey Shilling case, which was supposed to take place today, failed to materialize when the two horses which Shilling was engaged L to ride were scratched by F. M. Keller, who w is programmed as trainer for the Kenton Stable. The horses in question are Humorist and Dellahm. The case was brought to the attention of the Cc courts this morning at the county seat at Bel Air, M Md., and it was postponed till Thursday by Judge "W W. Preston. In the meantime Shilling returned to 41 the track, but Bedwell was absent. The Maryland Racing Commission will be asked tc to extend the ruling of the stewards, which denied B Bedwell access to the grounds for conduct detrimental m to the best interests of racing, to embrace ot other tracks in the State of Maryland. The Maryland Racing commission will hold a m meeting in Baltimore tomorrow in reference to tin-charges cl against Bedwell. It is alleged that Bed-well offered M. Hackett, a trainer, to take down tl the boy on Rinkavous and substitute Shilling. Senator Morris, counsel for Bedwell, threatens Qi action against all parties for intimidating of horse- n men in the Shilling case, stating that because of tl this lntiimdation Shilling cannot secure an outside n mount. Edward Burke, who proceeded to Bel Air today, r returned and stated that the case would be fought 0, out in the courts.
