KENILWQRTH OPENS OCT. 5 Permission Granted to Begin Day Later Than Original Date Rulings and Licenses. TORONTO, Ont., September 27. The Canadian Racing Associations held a meeting at Woodbine Park previous to the racing this afternoon. Kenneth P. DaAA-es and Fred Richards came dOAvn from Montreal, the former to represent the Montreal Jockey Club and the latter the Dorval association. Tlie request from the owners of the Kenilworth track that the opening of tlieir meeting be postponed from Tuesday, October 4, to Wednesday, October 5, AA-as granted. Tills aa-U1 give the horsemen plenty of time to ship from Toronto to Windsor. The fine imposed on jockey T. Parrington having been paid the suspension against that rider Avas Avithdrawn. The suspension of jockey Merimee will terminate Avitli the conclusion of the Kenilworth meeting, October 12. The ruling made against George Phillips September 30, 1920, AA-as Avithdrawn. Steeplechase jockey II. Williams AA-as granted an open license. His riding had been confined to the horses OAvned and trained by W. G. Wilson. The further entry of the horses Sand River II. and Draftsman Averc ordered refused. Both arc extremely fractious at the post. The folloAving licenses Avere granted: Trainers M. Dies, W. M. Knapp, C. A. Moore and C. G. Morriss. Jockeys A. Arvin, F. Huuskcr, W. Kel-say and B. T. Moore. Assumed names Sunnyside Stable. Authorized agents A. Bulcroft for D. Raymond and A. J. Plack for F. Davitt. The further entry of the horse Kama Avas also refused by the committee.
