STACY ADAMS was saved to the stretch, then finished fast and resolutely to win going away FINERY set a fast pace, but Tan out when entering the homestretch, where she forced SUNREIGH wide" then finished fast. The latter ran a good race, but tired in the stretch drive. ROCKY MOUNTAIN ran well. GRACE MAYERS began slowly and worked her way up on the outside. THE DECISION raced in closest pursuit, but tired near the end and had to be riddeu out to outstay VANESSA WELLES. The latter was hard ridden all the way. MR. X. finished well. LAST ONE set a fast early pace and held on more gamely than usual at the finish. LADY MEAVE was outrun early, but came with a belated rush near the end and got up for third place in the final strides. HILDUR was much used in forcing the pace and tired. GOLDEN SPHERE was forced wide on the first turn, where he lost much ground, hut moved up witli a rush on the baekstretch and tired in the last sixteenth. INCOG was much used in racing MESSINBS into defeat and tired. MESSINES raced into the lead on the last turn, but failed to stay the route. SMART GUY set a swift early pace and quit.
