CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The American trainer Eugene Leigh has saddled twenty-two winners this year in France. Alphonse Bresse, whose death is announced at the age of sixty-six, trained witli success for such owners as Messrs. Etienne Fould, R. Douvreleur, R. Maurain, G. Gucrlain, Dufour, de Songeons. Guyot, Baguenault de Puchesse, A. Veil-Picard and Harduin. Wallace Davis, the American trainer, is now established as director of the great stable of tins Grecian racing magnate, M. Ambaticlos, at Chan-tilly. After a holiday in England William Duke takes full charge of the newly formed stable of tlio Indian prince, Aga Khan.
